MESSAGE BOARD MODULE

Unlike DisasterLAN's Call Center Module which is designed around the collaborative nature of crisis management, the Message Board Module provides a more private method of sharing information between DisasterLAN users. Similar to traditional email systems, the Message Board allows users to send messages and file attachments to individuals or groups of users. Advanced tracking capabilities allow users to see exactly which users have or have not viewed individual messages. Both visual and audible alerts notify users when a new message is received.

  • Send and receive email-style messages to other DisasterLAN users.
  • Securely transfer file attachments to other DisasterLAN users.
  • Messages are organized in familiar inbox and outbox folders.
  • All messages are archived on the system for post incident analysis.
  • View the status of each message to see which message recipients viewed the message.
  • Send messages to individuals or multiple recipients.
  • Visual and audible alerts notify users to the presence of new messages.
