REFERENCE LIBRARY MODULE

DisasterLAN's Reference Library Module provides a convenient online location to store documents, files, and web links for rapid recall during a crisis. Incident management partners can use this collaborative storage location to store important documents, files, forms, web links or virtually any other type of digital asset. Additionally, the Reference Library comes pre-loaded with a plethora of reference materials vital to emergency response. Such assets include toxic chemical profiles, an electronic version of the Emergency Response Guide Book, locally cached copies of important emergency response web sites, and numerous other resources. File-based security allows users to set permissions to restrict access to a particular document. An intuitive file/folder browser system coupled with advanced search tools make locating documents easy. Because documents input into the Reference Library are available across all incidents in DisasterLAN, the Reference Library provides incident managers with an excellent tool for storing and managing preplanning documents.
